Meet Maverick: Our Chief Security Officer. Every great team needs someone dedicated to safety, loyalty, and morale—and at our place, that role is proudly filled by Maverick, our Chief Security Officer. Maverick is a 3.5-year-old Brittany with a sharp eye, a strong sense of duty, and a whole lot of personality.

Maverick’s workday starts bright and early with a full perimeter check of the yard. His top priorities include monitoring for suspicious squirrels, keeping birds in check, and ensuring no unexpected critters cross into restricted territory. These intruders may look harmless to the untrained eye, but Maverick knows better. He approaches every situation with focus, speed, and just the right amount of dramatic flair.

Occasionally, you may spot Maverick “sleeping” on the job. Rest assured, this is simply part of his advanced security strategy. With one ear alert and one eye half-open, he remains on watch at all times. Nothing gets past him.

When visitors arrive, Maverick smoothly transitions from security detail to welcome committee. He greets guests with a wagging nub, friendly energy, and an enthusiasm that instantly puts people at ease. His presence reminds us that security doesn’t have to be intimidating—it can be warm, joyful, and covered in fur.

Beyond his patrol duties, Maverick brings an unmatched sense of companionship and positivity to the day. He’s a constant reminder that hard work and fun can go hand in hand.
