2019 WAA Conference
2019 WAA (Wisconsin Arborist Association) Conference
We attended the 2019 WAA Conference in Green Bay this past weekend. We were able to attend informative lectures, and connect with people in our industry.
What is the WAA?: (The WAA has been dedicated to improving the practice of arboriculture and increasing public appreciation of trees and urban forests. Over the years, this organization of commercial, municipal, utility, and academic arborists has grown to include over 700 members with the like-minded goal of taking care of Wisconsin’s trees. These members service Wisconsin by providing private and public arboriculture services, research, and outreach activities. The WAA is a chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture which has representation in over 30 countries).
Looking forward to the upcoming season, we have many new things happening at Johnson Ops Tree Care. We are going to be a part of a network with Legacy Trees– (which are bare root trees that are field-grown to develop a natural root system and finished in our above-ground platforms for 12-24 months to prepare them for the move to your property) As well as Lumber and Slabs from our Urban Wood.
Stop by and take a look at our nursery in progress or call us at 608 526-6297 for any tree-related inquiries you may have.
