We needed a few large trees trimmed back at our house since they were hanging over the roof of the house and outbuilding. We also had a tree with a large split that we were worried could break during a storm and hit the house. We wanted an arborist company, not someone who would just come in and start cutting- we want to keep our trees healthy. Johnson Ops Tree Care was able to come out to our house within 2 weeks of us making the call. They were able to install a cable in the tree with the split and noticed another one with a split that we hadn't considered. They trimmed the large trees back. They took great care not to tear up the lawn and avoid making ruts with their trucks/machinery. Before they left they did a great job cleaning everything up(something that we thought we might have to do). To top it off what they charged was very reasonable, we were prepared to pay more. Overall, we were very happy with their service giving them 5 stars!
The crew came today to take our tree down. I’ve watched work crews in all sorts of settings and I want to give a shout to whoever trained this crew. From a safety standpoint the guys seemed disciplined in wearing PPE, working with the chipper and saw, and the mobile equipment. They maintained good communications throughout the job. They seemed aware of the risks in their tasks and worked together well. Johnson Ops has invested in the right equipment to make the job efficient and minimize manual material handling is apparent! I think my yard and our street were cleaner after they were done than before they started. We’re very pleased with Johnson Ops and they’ll be our only call the next time we need work or advice on the trees in our yard.

The skilled Johnson Ops Tree Care crew came in organized and well-equipped to take down two good-sized maples in our front yard. In less than 3 hours, everything from unloading equipment, initial scoping of how to approach the trees, to final cleanup was handled efficiently, effectively, and safely.
Arborvitae shrubs look great, even through the winter. Very knowledgeable, friendly.
Kris and the rest of the team at Johnson Ops Tree Care did an excellent job of trimming our giant silver maple. Their main concern for the tree is it's health, and their ability to accomplish the trimming I was looking for while keeping the tree healthy and viable is worth every penny! Absolutely fantastic business! I purchased some live edge lumber from them for my wedding a year ago and couldn't be happier with the quality and the price of the lumber. I also used Johnson Ops Tree Care for tree removal on my property after the December storm we had last year. I had MASSIVE mature trees that fell on my property and took out about 150 feet of my fence and my shed. They removed 2 huge pine trees and a willow in a single day while I was at work. They also removed the largest maple that I had on my property in a single day as well. They were great about cleanup of brush as well. Fantastic business and very professional people to work with. I will continue to use them in the future. Also they are a great place to get wood chips!
We have had mulch delivered and spread by their crews on 3 occasions over the years. Extremely satisfied with their professional work and the crews are awesome. Would highly recommend them👍
